Whole Class Ensemble Tuition
In partnership with Entrust, all pupils from Nursery to Year 6 engage in weekly hour-long music lessons with specialist teachers. In Year 2, pupils receive recorder tuition, as part of their musical curriculum and, in Year 4, pupils learn the ukelele. Pupils have the chance to share their musical skills with concerts for parents at the end of the year.
Small Group Instrument Tuition
Entrust also provides small group instrument lessons to pupils in Years 3-6 for an annual fee. Learning a musical instrument is great fun, challenging, develops skills for life and can lead to a lifelong interest in music, a variety of career paths, the chance to work as part of a team and the opportunity to make new friends.
Weekly tuition is currently offered in VIOLIN, RECORDER, FLUTE, CLARINET, OBOE and GUITAR and delivered by specialist teachers. Instruments are provided free of charge for the year.
