Five Spires Academy operates before and after school childcare to support our busy families. The club is run by school staff who know the children well.

Breakfast Club Admissions, Registration and Fees

Our breakfast club is open to all children attending Five Spires Academy (school and nursery), subject to appropriate staffing ratios laid down by the Care Inspectorate and availability of places.

​

All children wishing to join our breakfast club must make an application before they can attend. An application form can be picked up from the school office. This will then be checked to ensure availability of places and the confirmation will be given to you in writing of whether a place can be allocated and for what days. Please note that pupils eligible for Pupil Premium can access our breakfast club free of charge.

Breakfast Club Opening Hours

Our breakfast club is open during term time. Parents can drop children off from 7.45am.

For nursery pupils breakfast club is available until 8.30am.

For school pupils breakfast club will finish at 8.45am.

Our fees reflect local childcare charges and have been set in line with financial regulations. Fees will be reviewed annually. A full copy of the current fee structure is displayed on the school website. Parents in receipt of childcare vouchers are able to use these as payment. Payment can be made through our online payment system – School Money. Instruction on how to register are given in the appendices. Our fees are as follows:

Five Spires Academy After School Club offers a growing and popular childcare service. We care for children from the age of 3, which allows parents to undertake training or employment in the knowledge that their children are safe and happy. We are registered with Ofsted.

Activities are always varied so that children are entertained. The club offers a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, educational learning such as puzzles, construction toys and board games. We also supply a range of books and activities based around fine motor development. We also promote team building and physical activities via the indoor and outdoor sports and utilise the outdoor space when the weather is suitable.  On Thursday's our sports coach offers children attending the After School childcare provision the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports.
